First Giants Tryout Wednesday, March 3rd

Get your running shoes and workout gear ready and come show off all us your hard off season work you've done to the Giants organization at the RCTC dome on Wednesday, March 3rd.  We will go through basic testing drills such as the 40 yard dash, 5-10-5 shuttle, one on one drills, 7 on 7, and some others.  Sign in starts at 7:30 and the workout starts at 8 PM, but come early to warm up.  There will be two tryout/workouts this year, this being the first, the next one will be Wednesday, March 24th.  There is a $20 fee that covers both tryouts.  Bring field turf shoes and some workout attire.  If you are even remotely interested in maybe playing this year, we strongly suggest you attend these events as we have a roster cap this year in our new league.  Even if you just want to see if you can still run a 40 yard dash and just brag to your friends, we want to see it.  Who knows, you might surprise someone and make the team, so come show us what you got!  Check out the tryout schedule below

·         8:10-8:35 p.m. Testing

 40 yd Dash Vertical Jump Pro-Agility “5-10-5”

·         8:35-8:45 p.m. 1 on 1’s (skilled guys 2 lines) , O-D Line Reach Drill, 1-1 Pass Rush

·         8:45-9:00 p.m. 7-7 Skilled Guys  O/D-Line  Zone Double Drill, 4/5 Zone, 8/9 Stretch, Str Quick side Explanation

·         9:00 p.m. Closing and Pick-up
